SFHDC’s Homeownership Center operates as a resource center for low and moderate income families and individuals who have an interest in becoming first-time homebuyers and achieving financial stability. The center is staffed with qualified housing and financial counselors who posses professional backgrounds in finance and real estate.  These counselors can help prospective homebuyers become credit and mortgage ready, inform clients about affordable housing opportunities, help clients qualify for an affordable loan, learn about down-payment assistance options, and assist clients in maintaining their homes and buildings.
